THE DAILY MIRACLE. From 2017 to 2019 I made over forty trips to the New York Times’s College Point printing plant, where I had complete access to the giant presses, mailroom, and paper sorting areas. Vast, chaotic, and visually overwhelming, the plant was by far the most challenging place I’ve ever photographed. A selection of photographs was published in The New York Times online and as a special printed edition in the Sunday paper in March 2019, with an accompanying essay by Luc Sante.
